Over the past year and a half, I've totally changed my investment style due to the BBx.

------>I don't know if you are re-optimizing or not. Adjusting MAs as the day goes on seems different, somehow. Euclid adjusts the depiction of MAs with each up/down tick.

//////The BBx doesn't necessarily use MA, although it does use them. So I feel that it does fit into the re/op catagory, although the semantics aren't worth haggling over.//////

------->In any event, the prime purpose of the system will be to suggest likely daily behaviour, not intraday stuff. I cannot trust a program to tell me something I sense I know already. It would be counter to my own decision making. Suppose it disagreed with me, then where would I be?

/////// Unless the system could claim STRONG Gaelic logic, hit you about the head and shoulders with a lagre shalelligh, and then buy you a round, ------ IT would be SOL........ ggggg

-------->The purpose of the system, therefore, will be just to suggest a bias for the trading day, nothing more.

////////// In the past
I would buy according to the forecast from the BBx on an individual equity and the resultant actions would occur ----
......1) potential loss was set according to support level forecast
......2) potential profit was let to run according to the movable #1
......3) short term positions could turn into long term positions only by usage of above 2 rules.

This resulted in what I call position trading, even though it turned into daytrading occasionally.

Now
I daytrade the OEX.
But
I basically use the same rules as above ....... except there is NO overnight hold.
I can now leave the daily market watching for periods of time and not feel uncomfortable or worried.
I trade when it's handy for my schedule.

My long term core holdings have sell points set daily with the broker and he has freedom to use a predetermined 8% drop if he doesn't hear from me.

Makes my old age more comfortable.

BTW -----
Marilyn is going to retire next year and at that point the rules WILL change ...... GGGGGG

Regards --- Nemer
