NEW YORK, July 1 (Reuters) - DoubleClick Inc. said it had
the third largest Internet advertising audience reach in April
behind America Online Inc. and Yahoo! Inc.,
citing new data from online market researcher Media Metrix.
DoubleClick's sudden rise to the top ranks of the Internet
reflects a decision by Media Metrix to begin including the
DoubleClick Network and other Web-based advertising networks as
part of its standard reports beginning next month.
The DoubleClick Network includes more than 170 high-traffic
sites around the world and currently serves an estimated 1.5
billion ads each month to 35 million people, the company said.

SAN FRANCISCO, July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- BancAmerica Robertson Stephens research analyst Keith Benjamin initiated coverage today on NetGravity, Inc. (Nasdaq: NETG - news) with a Buy rating.

NetGravity (NETG) is the leading provider of software to help Web networks and e-tailers effectively place impression-inducing advertisements and direct marketing banners. The company's revenues are derived from selling and servicing server software.

''We view NetGravity as a proxy for Web audience growth and targeted marketing,'' said Benjamin. Benjamin estimates that the company serves over 3.5 billion banners per month.

''We believe that NetGravity's technology is the key to encouraging advertisers to spend more on the Web and to enabling merchants to sell more,'' said Benjamin.
