Hello Kathryn,
I'm sure Tom would be able to answer you question but he is either in or on the way to Watkins Glen to race his cat.
It sounds to me like the date is set wrong on your computer, or you installed over a week ago and are now just trying set up Newport.
What I would do is:
1. delete your Newport files that now exist.
2. Check the date on you computer to verify its accuracy.
3. Reinstall Newport
4. Immediately add at least one stock in the maintenance menu.
Hope this helps
Bernie
