Take this for what it's worth, but a friend of mine was
talking with a senior executive at PeopleSoft and indicated
that there are pricing pressures in the market. In days past
they were able to quote say $5 million and tell the prospect
that was just for the software and that services would be
an additional $x million. Now customers are pushing back
and saying no, we'll pay you $5 million total ( including
services), take it or leave it.
