PLEASE READ REGARDING DOMAIN NAMES & ITRADING.COM:

It absolutely DOES MATTER what the domain name is!

If I want to get to Ameritrade's site, I go to www.ameritrade.com, NOT www.ameritrad.com. Now, I didn't see their URL advertised anywhere and nobody told me. I just assumed that Ameritrade's URL would be www.ameritrade.com. If that came up empty, I'd might try something like www.amtrade.com, and if that didn't work I'd start to get annoyed. Upon finding out that it should be www.ameritrad.com (no 'e') my first reaction would be "How stupid"!

The site name Insider Trading is fine! The domain name www.insidertradin.com (without the 'g') is not!! They chose this version because someone else already had www.insidertrading.com (with 'g'), as well as almost any other suitable domain name. For those who are confused about the difference between the site name and domain name: one is how the site is called in normal conversation and advertising; and the other how it is addressed on the internet (how you actually GET THERE).

Coop, If I told you "Check out this great new site Insider Trading at www.insidertradin.com", I'll bet you good money that you're gonna type www.insidertrading.com - and end up elsewhere or nowhere.

So instead I could say: "Hey, Coop, check out Insider Trading at www.insidertradin.com. Oh yeah, but don't type 'g' at the end of 'trading'. Why? Cuz that's their URL. Yeah, I know it's dumb. Don't know why they left of the 'g'. Sounds a bit silly to me, too. Hmmm, I wonder who did get the 'g'. Maybe we should check that site out too."

Can we all see that a conversation like this immediately makes Insider Trading sound like a second-class site?

Now "www.itrading.com" is a great domain name for Insider Trading. And guess what? Although it has already been taken, it is for sale! I have contacted the owner (NOT me, for those cynics out there :) ) and his price is "around $80K", though we could probably talk him down. I think this is a good investment for a domain name name as slick as this. It works fine with the Insider Trading site name, and would look GREAT in marketing materials. "Insider Trading, at www.itrading.com" WONDERFUL!

We should recommend to John (CEO of PRWT) that the opportunity to secure this domain name exists.
