OK, I'll share the essense of the analysis. (And I'll write really slow so Zoltan can keep up with us.) Clinton's achievements are unparralelled. Economy: best in century. Environment: total reversal of Reagan policies, resulting in clean air, harbor cleanups, preservation of wildlife and parks. Foriegn affairs: peace. Crime: lowest levels in half a century. Education: renewed emphasis and teacher/student testing. Energy: lowest cost, abundant supply. Race: poor, but funally being addressed. Labor: highest wages in history. Social Security: he's fixing this now.
He rates at the top end of presidents, trailing only FDR and LBJ. And by the time the Clintons finish their mission, I believe he'll be at the top.
So jlallen, rick, zolton, darrell, david, betty, please analyze these thoughts and you too will come to the same conclusion. It just takes some thought.
