IRANIAN'S LAUNCH MISSILE
So .. Iran has not test launched a missile that can deliver a nuclear warhead about 800 miles. That's enough to drop one of those puppies in the middle of Saudi Arabia or Israel. It's a wonderful time time to have an anti-military Commander in Chief who has been presiding of a dismantling of American military forces.
YOUR TAX MONEY AT WORK
So ... where does your tax money go? Well, Congress has been informed by the Inspector General for the Social Security Administration that there are 145 Social Security employees who work full time on union activities. They are being paid by the taxpayers, but they work for the union. In addition, there are 1,655 more Social Security employees who spend at least 75 percent of their time working on union activities. The cost to the taxpayers is $13.4 million in salaries and $1.3 million in office space every year.
That's what you pay taxes for, right? To pay the salaries of government union activists.
HATE CRIMES? LET'S CALL THEM WHAT THEY REALLY ARE ....
Did you know that there is legislation before the congress that will expand the list of groups protected in so-called federal "hate crimes" laws? Not only that, but the bill would make it easier for the federal government to prosecute people guilty of those crimes.
The goal is to expand this "hate crimes" protection to offenses based on disability and sexual orientation.
Let's call them what they are. Hate crimes are really thought crimes. We are talking about emotions and thought processes here. Hate may be ugly, but it shouldn't be illegal. How can you make a feeling illegal? How can you make a thought process illegal?
Defenders of Bill Clinton are fond of talking about "Clinton haters." Every person out there who has a question about or voices opposition to Clinton's crimes, and his attempts to cover them up, is labeled a "hater," usually by the very same people who are pushing this "hate crime" legislation.
If these people can't adequately define "hate," or if they deem any political opposition to be "hate," then any legislation they propose involving "hate crimes" would be very dangerous indeed.
Prosecute people for violating another person's right to life, liberty or property. Not for the thought process they had while they were committing their crimes. boortz.com |
