Do the math. $100 million divided by $400 for each air conditioner results in 250,000 air conditioners. These units are being sent to needy elderly citizens so they won't DIE! Even an idiot knows its not "millions of air conditioners." And it bolsters my point that Clinton really does care about people. Unfortunately, GP, as with welfare, where only about .$25 of every dollar eventually made it to the needy, and the 100,000 cops, where the nat'l gov't was only picking up the bill to get it started and then the individual cities would have to pay, by the time the $100 mil gets down to those that need it the most only about $25 mil will remain. It's like any other gov't operation anywhere in the world. Whenever the gov't starts doling out money it's mostly to buy votes/influence through either their rich cronies or the gullible public. The Republicans are guilty of this too. Except for the necessities of gov't; protection, etc.; I believe the less gov't the better. halfscot
