Lazarre: You really have gone over the edge. Take stocks out and have them shot for less?? What the hell are you talking about? How do you shoot a stock?

As for ole Bubba he is in a tough spot. Its hard to dodge a subpoena. Clinton's choices are to appear before the grand jury and answer questions without knowing what Monica will say leaving him wide open to perjury and obstruction charges if the press reports concerning her "proffer" are true, provoke a constitutional crisis and ignore the subpoena (even Nixon did not do that, testify and take the fifth amendment or fire Starr. None of those is particularly appealing personally or politically. He may be able to stall a while longer by filing a motion to quash the subpoena but such a motion would have the same lack of legal basis as the "protective privilege" argument. In fact, if I was Starr I would refuse to even speak to Bubba about any concessions on grand jury testimony. if he fails to appear, while the Courts may not be able to find him in contempt his failure to appear itself should constitute an article of impeachment.

As far as guns go, that is off topic. I'm sure you've got some equally lame brained rationale as to why we all should be disarmed. No doubt its for the children. JLA
