The Belize political ruckus could well go forward. The company thinks that it is well positioned to work with both parties. The company is also working on other mortgage ventures in other Latin American countries. Great margins, lots of aggrivation.
I have maintained thru out that the company is a whole lot more than Belize, I think that today's announcement is conclusive proof of that. Doing business in foreign countries is not like doing business in the US. The company has spent many months working on these Latin American deals. As I have mentioned Amway was kicked out of China a few months ago and was recently reinstated. I am not at all surprised that they were reinstated. In their case they are and have been maybe the largest single contributor to the US Republican party for years.
Do they have political clout or what? My assumption is that PRWT has invested the time and effort to work with both parties in Belize, and that they will prevail. We will probably know alot more in a few days regarding the resolution of what is local Belize politics to me.
