The Defense department has cleared her. The investigation of Kevin Bacon and others is being stalled but reports indicate that charges are expected to be filed.

>> Not to mention her illegal taping of conversations, which if it is not a violation of Maryland law is an Article 19, telephone/wire fraud.

Wrong again.

1) Maryland law says taping is illegal only if the taper had knowledge that taping was illegal. Linda did not have such knowledge.

2 The best view is that Maryland doesn't have jurisdiction anyway since Linda's taping concerned an interstate call, where Federal law governs. Federal law says taping with one party knowledge is not a crime.
