I don't agree, she is not a "public figure". She is a private citizen. That's why I pose the question. Jerry Falwell lost his slander case against Penthouse because he was deemed a "public figure" as indeed he is. Linda Tripp does not fall in that category. Considering the fact that she was and is a witness in a federal investigation, the public slander she has endured could almost be construed as witness intimidation. I think she should sue. bp
