You're probably right. Gore is even worse for the economy than Clinton is. Even if Gore declines (or is subsequently convicted on another fund-raising scandal) and Gingrich takes over as interim president, the markets hate uncertainty.

I have; it's alternately laughable and pathetic. He summarily dismisses any and all evidence that seems to implicate Clinton. Geraldo has been a sensationalist since his days on 20/20, and his more recent attitude is "Don't confuse me with facts; my mind's made up." He's no journalist, that's for sure.
You insist that it's only about sex. If that's so, why is Clinton using every possible dodge to avoid telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? Part of the escalating cost of this investigation is directly due to him and his lawyers throwing roadblocks up to impede the process at every opportunity.

Clinton will be exposed as a serial liar, the bounds of which will be only partially evident in the investigation.
