Jay Leno Tossed into the Ring: In what seems to be a growing trend among celebrities these days, Jay Leno is the latest star to enter the wresting ring. NBA superstars Karl Malone and Dennis Rodman recently faced off at WCW's Bash at the Beach, and now the host of NBC's The Tonight Show will team with Diamond Dallas Page. Leno and Diamond will take part in a tag-team match against NWO (New World Order) member "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and promoter Eric Bischoff. The match grew out of an incident when Hogan and Bischoff appeared on Leno's show and got into a shoving match with the host and bandleader Kevin Eubanks. Leno's big wresting debut is scheduled for August 8 during a pay-per-view event in South Dakota. If you had any doubts that wrestling was fake before, Leno's participation should confirm that the "sport" is strictly for entertainment.
