Cavalry, you said

<<and OU812 don't you realize that forbes [sic] article scared off « of si>>

Your opinion, I presume? Had the article been posted previously? Several on the thread reacted as if they had not read the article before. If this were the first appearance of the article, are you implying that this thread has heavy, heavy, heavy lurking traffic? Is there that much interest in MVEE already?

A link to the Forbes article appeared in OU8onetoo's post #774. The very long article is essentially on another subject and only briefly mentions Golan, Globus, and Cannon Group. The article includes the information that Cannon Group was investigated by the SEC for raising $329 million under false pretenses. Which leads us to. . .

<<founders last company under investigation by sec [sic]>> Cavalry, do you have any additional information about the circumstances surrounding this event? Any suggestions on where we should look? Perhaps your aunt knows of a source?

<<many don't trust these guys, when they ran canon [sic] word was they had no scruples or ethics, i [sic] got that from my aunt who is a vp of publicity at one of the three major motion picture studios>> I bet Alexander Westcott is going to be ticked off when they hear about this! Not to mention those poor suckers investing in the movies themselves! One fund-raising tour has been successfully completed, and two more are scheduled. It was reported on the thread that people were anxious to talk to Golan and Globus at Cannes. Someone refresh my memory, but isn't that where the first presale agreements were signed? Your aunt's opinion notwithstanding, it appears that there are a lot of people eager to do business with Golan and Globus.

Regards, Suzanne
