Here's my thoughts on WCOM LEAPS:

Only problem is that we're now less than 18 months to expiration, so you won't be able to take advantage of the best capital gains tax rate. Of course, if you're really just approaching this as an options play, you're used to that. But if WCOM doesn't make a big run in the meantime, the 2001 LEAPS may be an even better idea when they become available, if you want to keep as much of your gains as possible!
