Percent Hong Kong exposure as of 3/31/98. Templeton China(TCH) 78.9% Templeton Dragon 73.9% The customer service number for Templeton is 800-237-0738. I don't have the info on the Asia Tiger Fund (GRR). I am long both TCH and TDF and hedged against a currency devaluation or other disaster in China with a short position in the Hong Kong Webs (EWH). Closed end funds tend to respond more slowly to bad news than the Webs which are subject to arbitrage plays by "big money players". If you are interested in a play on Thailand, Templeton Vietnam and Southeast Asia Fund (TVF) is heavily invested in Thailand and has a about 10% in Hong Kong
