TraderGreg,
You understand precisely! Would it not be nice to have information archived and simply refer someone to the posts? And discuss it again ONLY if new information were added, or if a valid new point of debate were offered? What would people think? Perhaps they would think, "What a sharp group of people! They know everything there is to know about this stock. I can trust them. They have nothing to hide. I'm not too crazy about such-and-such, but I think it's worth the risk."
OR we could deal with bashers the same way Cavalry and others were responded to by some. We could try to intimidate them, or insult them, and generally be rude. This, of course, will have to be done to every basher, repeatedly, forever and ever, ad nauseum. Makes for a fun thread! Did you ever buy stock after being treated like that? Did you ever contribute any real DD to a thread where you had been treated like that? I'll admit Cavalry's tone was pretty obnoxious, but bashers (AKA potential investors) are rarely dripping with charm. I began to wonder if he knew what "LOL" means. But he has posted some solid information on the TCBG thread.
Can you believe that someone would address a post <<FOR THE STUPID PEOPLE>>? Tell me that didn't happen! I hope no one noticed my name on the addressee line. People might start to think I'm stupid, and I'll have to quietly slink away into the cyberdark, self-esteem destroyed, my business gone, my house seized, homeless, jobless, cold, hungry, no SI, . . .oh, excuse me, I'm sorry, my attention drifted a bit.
Enough rambling. I appreciate your being a point of light. Post again.
Regards, Suzanne |
