You know, that is interesting. From a stock perspective I would tend to think you are correct. However, since I have been watching the indices, I don't seem to really care which way the market goes and since I have been short term trading, I really don't care. Up or down, matters not. Matters if you can determine which way in the next 10 minutes! EDIT - I think I am having as much fun watching this un-fold as if I was in there right now. Nice TICK bounce....
