$40 in 1993??? I'm not sure where you get your information, but on a post-split basis, PSFT traded somewhere between 2 and 5 in 1993. It might have been in the $40 range back then, but since then there have been many splits..

While the company may appear somewhat overvalued right now, I suspect that the next year or so will be extremely good. How the stock performs kinda depends on the overall market now.

I personally don't own any, but I sure woulnd't short it.
