I don't think there are any preferred shares that can be converted for some time,
the SEC has to approve the S-3 after it's filed, then you usually see a 424B3
and then there's a waiting period built in. It's said that in most cases private investors tend to hedge their positions in advance right after the SEC approves these offerings despite what's written in the documents but I don't think these investors are interested in doing that.
