Hi Rob, There's a great series of articles in Scientific American on energy. I would guess they were in a Feb., March or April issue. The summary is that we have about 10 years of continued growth of production of fossil energy before it starts to plateau. As it plateaus and starts to decline, energy and the services needed to produce it will get more pricy. Capacity problems between now and then will be independent of the ability to find and produce energy, but driven by the peculiarities of the marketplace.

To me that sounds like if we have the chance to get an energy portf. started now, especially during a "dip" in stock prices, that it will be a great long term investment. I've been slowly building an energy component of my portfolio and will continue to do so as time goes forward.

Best regards, Tom
