Effect of Merger Approval? Many on this thread have said that they expect the merger to get final federal approval this month. (Do the states still need to give independent approval?) What effect will this have on the stock price:
a. in a continued market downtrend?
b. in a market uptrend?
c. in a neutral market?

I get the sense that the final approval of the merger is already priced into WCOM. But, perhaps the approval will allow WCOM to make some announcements which have been suppressed due to the pending merger?
