I have started to trade the options on the short side--selling them naked based on what signals my system generates. I paper traded this through the last year or so, to see how it works and it was producing good results. As always, one has to be very discplined since the risk is substantial--but between the favorable price movement and the time factor so far it seems to be a winning approach. I do close out positions--taking profits-- in using a laddered approach and don't rely on my system to exit the options trade.
