sometimes we overestimate what market makers can do. i agree, to a certain degree they can manipulate the market. but in a larger sense, if there is enough buying - then the market maker does exactly the opposite and the price appreciation becomes more pronounced and accellarated. in any case , this is the function of the market maker. they may add volatility and imbalance - but such is the nature of the OTC BB issues. We all know it.... it is always easier to blame it on the market makers. In time, when this stock flies and it triples, are you going to thank the market makers?? Of course not... it is the buying interest in this stock that will push it up.I will be thanking the people buying my shares at triple my cost, the market maker takes his cut...that is his job.
