on a real volatile day I often will take the 4 points or whatever on half, stop on on the other half, and look for a better re-entry.

Those days I find I trade more....but usually I have the adrenaline going; so I don't notice it much.

On the real volatile days I get stopped out a lot for a breakeven on the half position perhaps 2 out of three times. Volatile days require close attention to entry points. If it's just choppy...up 4 down 3 up 4 down 5 then I usually just walk away from it.

If it's volatile but with a trending direction.....Friday trended down early then up.....then I'll hang in. The problem (for me) is that on a day like Friday I am too slow to realize there has been a change in intraday trend.

Old age has made me too stubborn.
