OK GANG HERE IS WHAT I GOT! A friend of mine who is a coworker has just gotten back from Belize after spending five years there. He owns a home and 60 acres of land in Belize . I knew that he would be arriving today so I saw him and sat him down in my office and asked him many questions you name it, I asked It! Not letting him know as to what I was driving at we covered the topic of housing, the elections, and the economy and to my surprise he confirmed many of the things that have been posted here and much more. First the Belize Government is being very careful about housing construction because they got burned bad by contractors from Costa Rica who built homes in the city above a filled in swamp. These homes are now starting to sag into the ground because the pilings were not set down enough into the ground Causing the Government and the people to lose money. Next he said that the Government, currently in power wants to build good homes for its civil service workers. They have even tried trailer homes by that did not work out. Next he informed me that both parties are working very hard to have their parties win the election this week. He said that the elections there are rough for the country to go through and one of the big topics for both parties is housing. After our discussion I showed him some of the DD that was posted on this thread. The first thing he wanted to know was how could he find out more about PRWTand the purchasing of PRWT shares .He told me that he will make a few calls to Belize to find out more about the housing which is so badly needed info for us. Well that is all I have for now. I hope this info helps out a bit. And yes after our conversation I went and bought more.
