>>Tom, are you gunna work on an intraday system as well?

I am--and have been--have not come up with anything stable as of yet; part of the problem is that I am not an expert in writing this stuff and so I've been have been taking a while to write models using EasyLanguage on TradeStation. So I'll probably come up with something sooner or later--most likely later. Am toying around with getting some one to do it for me--who has the time, the skills and the inclination -- and if it won't cost me an arm and a leg.

>>Or, are you gunna do it by look and feel ala Pat?

Up to this point I have been using a combination of technical reads combined with the look/feel approach--it has been working OK I guess, though I feel that I am missing a lot of good trades. Like the one yesterday when it gapped up in the am -- that was as close to a sure thing as one can get--but I did not pull the trigger quick enough to short it.

>>BTW...any chance of a Buy Sig on your TT position trading system? What would it take like a 300 point up move in the Dow?<<

A buy signal is impossible on Monday -- too much momentum to the downside for one to be triggered no matter what the market does. It may also not be possible to trigger one on Tuesday either--if Monday and Tuesday are "nothing" type days--ideally a small up day on Monday and a small down day on Tuesday, the system may be capable of a generating a buy signal thereafter.

>>The P*Stops are a LONG ways away from going green, they have been whipped around like a little boy in this choppy stuff, but again caught this big-O-drop. <<

I know what you mean--I took a big hit on the last short signal I had -- though it was caused by a money management stop--not a bad signal. But the fact that your system caught the big move just goes on to prove what I have said repeatedly--just take all the signals and accept that there will be some losers on the way. Anyway, I hope that you made a few bucks on the signal to go short.

Regards
