..There is no basis for your supposition that Linda Tripp could not distinguish delight from misery. The warm emails lend credence to Tripp's account. They were close to lovey dovey, a lot warmer than was required to tell him "no offense taken" and that she needed a job still. This is no criticism of those notes at all, btw.

Wrong. Willey was excited but Linda had no idea what Willey was feeling and you have no basis for saying otherwise. Linda thought the WH would like what she had to say but was slammed by Bennett as a liar. Ever wonder why? Because Tripp confirmed that something happened and identified Willey as a possible victim/witness to Clinton's predations. Bennett wanted no one as a witness to anything happening, especially since he could not know if Willey would lie for Clinton under oath.

Those warm letters only reveal that Willey wanted a job and to stay on good terms with the most powerful man on earth. Remember Willey did not come forward with her story, she was ordered by a court to state it under oath and she said that she would not lie for Clinton. She did not sell anything like Steele who changed her story for money. We do know for a fact that Clinton is a serial liar and even lies under oath so his word is worthless.

It's really bizarre that you expect anyone to regard your admittedly uniformed opinion with anything other than the utmost disdain. You say that you are disturbed and I agree that you must be somewhat disturbed to rely on your faulty memory and "intuition" as a basis for developing and then actually presenting an opinion.
