I have 510.47 on OEX

I think it's right. I purchased this computer/software in the Spring and it was preloaded with the data.

The other machine went down while I was away. But that was only a few days and the number is close to the same.

My preceding tirade with reference to "long haul" buyers was instigated by a conversation with a good friend who is a Merrill broker. He lamented the decline in his Merrill stock and then finished the discussion with....guess?

On a lighter note, I just heard two guys discussing OJ futures. The second said abruptly to the first, "Yeh, go ahead and trade Orange Juice. Then there will be three guys passing contracts back and forth".

If you are going out perhaps the best course is to just take a pass. I have to be out Thursday, it appears, but I think it has the potential to have a thunderbolt hit in the afternoon. VIX figures preclude taking a put position, so I may sell a small amount early and place a wide stop.

EDIT. BTW, can't you just adjust the software for the split?
