Thanks: CB's have downside like anything else. There is interest rate risk, and also business risk..i.e.. if the company stinks, you have a problem.

The best place to get info on CB's IMO, would be from full service house, the CB's are not very well followed, because there not very many of them, relative to the bond market as a whole.

Sorry, I have no stocks or bond "war" stories,
maybe someone else could help there.

Good luck, if you buy some, but they are always something good to have in the back of your mind, IMO.
