Yes I saw the news also. They paid a high price for the ALRN in my opinion based on historic stock market valuations but not so high in the real world values. ALRN was always a value play so I held on to my shares fortunately. But today SANM is getting hammered because of this merger and earning warnings which they characterize as temporary shipment delays. I am glad to see something happening in this sector and hopefully more consolidations may be on the way. I think we have seen the bottom in this sector. Is this wishful thinking? It seems to be margins and pricing more than volumes which is killing earnings for now.
