LOL ---- both of these can be covered with one post ----- and perhaps give my thoughts on Scott's request for comments about the pm between you two ......... You have turned me into a HitAndRunner for nearly all my trades ..... Don Sew got me into the ripple bottle (very short term trades, not really the wine bottle .....) and I find that method suits me best for the past year...... so now ALL my trades are designed to be H&R. the "Scott money" was what I laughingly refer to as "money left on the table" ........ and as Scott is discovering can be expensive money ..... greed (worry about what was left) will destroy most trading plans . ----- this is to the thread and Scott, not you and TT (both of ya'll are full of discipline .... errr ... and mayhaps some more other stuff, too .... ggggggg) but back to Scott's case ..... his system is successful in pointing out 100 trades and 60 of them make a profit of 2 points and, say the remaining 40 --- 20 break even or lose 1/2 and the other 20 lose 2 ------ this makes for profitable trading and good investing ....... stick with it, Scott ----- DON'T worry about that 10 that ran 10 or more points cause more than that 100 points will be dissolved into some of those profitable 2s turning into losses and some of those losses getting worse and turning into 10 point losses ...... I only had time and patience for one post before I left for a while and I picked you, Pat to cover both ......... back to the refurb job ....... Later ---- Nemer
