I'm not sure that the call will necessarily be positive. The stock action in ERP companies has been terrible, and stocks have an uncanny way of predicting what's going on. There could be some softness in the ERP marketplace - this is conceivable given Y2K and Michelle Harris' suggestion that there are Peoplesoft consultants "on the beach" and that the ERP marketplace is slowing. I think it could be negative because PSFT almost needs to explain why their stock has completely nose-dived. And if they are seeing unanticipated softness in the marketplace, that is material. Not rooting for a negative call, I just think it could be. GV
