Diversinet Signs Licensing Agreement
With Canada's Largest Independent
Internet Service Provider, GlobalServe Communications

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1998--Diversinet Corp. (NASDAQ:DVNTF
- news;
CDN:DVNT), a leading provider of Digital Certificate management tools
and developer of
public-key infrastructure (PKI) technology, today announced that it has
entered into a licensing
agreement with GlobalServe Communications, Canada's largest independent
Internet Service
Provider (ISP).

Under terms of the agreement, Diversinet will supply its Passport
Certificate Server product to
GlobalServe. The company will pay Diversinet a scaled license fee on a
per user basis based on the
quantity of certificates supplied. Due to the competitive nature of the
industry sector, financial terms
have not been disclosed.
