Very interesting thread. Personally my investing concentrates on highly volatile resource stocks on the canadian exchanges, where an ear to the ground any a feel for where commodities are going is crucial. What effect do you think this volatility in stocks, or the onset of recession will have on the price of gold and other commodities, if any? I believe gold will experience a significant run sometime before the end of the year as uncertainty takes a stronger hold, and base metals will stumble. Regards,
