Hi Patrick-- Yes, that was a neat story, esp the bits about you being the life and soul of the parties when Desert Storm was going on. Re more futures traders participation and alternative forums -- don't worry about it too much. It would obviously be great if there were a couple of other active traders--but as you know even if we found another forum with more particpation, it needs a certain amount of synergy between the participants otherwise it could be a counter-productive. Besides once OJ joins in the fray, he'll make it feel like we have umpteen traders on this thread:) Yesterday was a decent day for me--I wish that Rubin had done his spiel after the markets closed--though I am not really sure that had a whole lot to do with the reversal. Today, I have to be gone for a couple of hours after the market opens -- should be back before noon. No idea what is going to happen today -- just heard Pissani say that traders on the floor, have been saying to him that we should continue to expect volatility through September--I could have told him that!! I saw Steve suggest on the TSO thread that the stocks to short are some of the Latin American telecoms -- I agree with him. Basically, if the next area of melt-down is going to be Latin America then that should be the area to short. Futures on the globex all over the place -- so who knows what will happen by the open.
