Well Bev, any rec from OJ is good enough for me!! Keep us posted re your thoughts--don't know whether you've followed this thread for long -- but you'll find that we are a fairly varied group -- different styles and temperaments. Most of the time we know what we are doing -- or at least we think that we do. We make a few bucks in the process--some days are better than others! I am a position trader and a wannabe day trader who is trying to learn the ropes without losing too much money, in the process. I do trade the OEX -- but only on the short side -- selling naked calls and puts. Trying to take advantage of the rich premiums---but as you know that is a high risk game and one needs to be willing to bail in a hurry if one is wrong. But in most instances, a combination of time erosion and hopefully an accurate sense of direction makes it worthwhile.
