DT--good question I suspect that what will happen is that at some point the media will start to publicise the fact that anyone who started investing in xxxx year in the 90s--is now probably under-water or close to it. And that will cause people to wonder whether to stay in the market -- or liquidate. Rather like all the fanfare about all the gains for 98 having been eradicated as this decline got going.
