Down Ticks can get pretty out of hand. I recall a few weeks ago where someone mentioned the excessive negative TICK indicated a relief rally. I noted where Cook felt the same way. I was persuaded to think along those lines when by co-incidence Hank Camp called and I asked him.

Without getting into it too much, he basically said to start looking for a -1600 TICK on Monday and worse Tuesday.

Sure enough. It did get much worse, hitting almost 1600 Monday and cresting 1700 on Tuesday of the following week.
