I thought this was the best description of the mini drive I've read yet. I also states that they will use GMR. I had thought the flying height of GMR would have made any drive more sensitive to shock, but I'm obviously wrong. Funny thing is they seem to conclude there isn't really demand for these drives, in cameras at least, as they are too expensive.
