Jeff--

Right--today would have been absolutely perfect for OEXs. Not a great day for the techs, but then I was out of the MSH so it didn't matter (wouldn't have anyway, but you don't want to mess too much with options about to expire the next day). But I'd (selfishly) really like to see a pullback tomorrow morning so I could choose a nice contract to go long on for Monday, when the MSH will become the options junkie's dream.

Poor Rainsford hasn't had a very good week; maybe he's got the flu or something, and the emanations just aren't coming through.

As for the ghastly Dana, I can't believe that the guys over at MRVC are taking his "apology" at face value and smothering him with compassion (and email). The "Canes", by the way, are the Miami Hurricanes; like you, I imagined that they'd be the Sugarcanes. CoCanes is rather nice, though. The Canes, Dana revealed in his suck-up post to the Motley Fool (reproduced by Sam on MRVC), were eliminated from the national championships: I suppose they must be relegated to the side of the Weak and the Stupid, like so many of the rest of us.

Oh GOD, it's late; gotta get to bed.

Janice
