Because the cycle would have hit on the weekend, I said Monday.

To be honest, I thought September the 12th was the day, but no matter. Either way the 55th has to be played out today as both of our dates hit on the weekend.

If nothing else, this may be an opportunity to establish more puts for options players. I have not traded an index option since the early Spring due to volatility. Perhaps Tom has the correct thought to sell them....but I have always been a tad leery with naked index options myself.
