I couldn't agree with you all more about the thread. IT HAS GOTTEN OUT OF CONTROL - WAY TOO MANY STOCKS THAT DON"T MEET THE CRITERIA!!! LETS TAKE A LOOK AT AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF FINANCIAL INFO. WHEN POSTING TO THE THREAD. The minimum price is $5 - FAIR? The only reason LKON was mentioned was for everyone to LOOK at it - not recommend it, but to let you all take a look at it and maybe keep an eye on it. (It could be promising) As for $10, Most huge growth occurs when less than this amount. ASND was less then 10. So was IOMEGA at one time. All that I am trying to say is that we need to find companies with stories and potential that are showing continual earnings and revenue growth. As for 1000% growth, GET REAL!!!!!!! I didn't even look at it. I know the smell of B.S. or one-time growth when I see it. Over the past week and a half, I have compiled a list of stocks from that were listed on the thread. I took a look at the criteria that I proposed and the actual info on every company. From those stocks posted, I believe that I have compiled a list of companies that everyone may want to watch. IMHO (in my humble opinion), these companies struck me as very promising and very good investments. They all have promising futures and who knows where they will be this time next year. Here's the list: VERY BULLISH Ciprico Inc. (CPCI) MRV Communications (MRVC) AML Communications (AMLJ) Fountain Powerboat Industries, Inc. (FPWR) Bullish Brite Voice Systems Inc (BVSI) Stocks to watch (could quickly become profitable and soar) Linkon Corporation (LKON) Ancor Communications (ANCR) All of these companies are small and meet the requirements listed in the thread (actually, I'm not sure about # shares on Brite)- crap! Oh well, the very bullish stocks look like very good investments to me over the next year and perhaps onward. These are the ones that I have just bought some shares in recently. However, MRVC is a company that I already owned shares of. (I bought more recently at 22. That's how promising their future is!) DISCLAIMER THIS IS JUST MY OPINION. DO YOUR RESEARCH CAREFULLY and TAKE ANYTHING TOLD TO YOU BY ANYONE AT FACE VALUE (basically, a tip worth nothing). I am not an analyst and everyone should be responsible for their own investment decisions. Good Luck to all I shall be gone and might not be able to post over the next week and a half.
