O.K. Everybody, here is what I have.

I just got off of the phone with Minister Dickey Bradley. I asked him about the press release. He said that he needed to get to the bottom of the whole situation. His government did not release the statement and that from what he understood, AND DON"T READ BETWEEN THE LINES JHILD, there was no CONTRACT specifically between the Belizean Government and PRWT regarding the mortgages as he understood it.He said that what Affordable Housing an PRWT were doing in Belize was perfectly legal and the Belezean government would work with them as they are providing a service to the Belizean people. He said he had seen documents as to what PRWT was doing in Belize and everything was legal. He said that the press release on the Information Service was brought to his attention this past weekend and he would have to find out where it came from and why.I asked if it was his predessesors(sp?) and he said "could be". It was short,as I did not want to take up too much of his time. It was kinda neat, talk'n to the Janet Reno of Belize.

My personal opinion:
1.) Prwt had a agreement with the UDP, when UDP saw they were losing, destroyed any evidence related to the agreement, tried to discredit PRWT so that the new goverment could not take advantage of the situation.
2.) Contrary to what LaJag would have you believe, They are not engaged in illegal activities and I got no negative responses or tone from the Minister regarding Prwt.
3.) He gave me the impression of being satisfied with what PRWT was doing "providing a service to the Belizean people".
4.) The press release WILL be removed from the IS site.
5.) Although not what I expected, everything looks to be o.k.

Have to see what Prwt has to say tommorrow!
I'm holding.
