It does usually take less than a minute with Schwab. It may take a few minutes before they tell me about it though. Schwab has a good reputation with some professional OEX traders. Thanks for the warning about paper trading options. I will try to check out the Natenburg book. I am thinking about writing the option down on paper and waiting a couple of minutes and then writing down the bid for a buy or the ask for a sell. I think that should cover your concern.
