Investing the Cisco Way

I will get back to investing the Sun Tzu way when I have more time. In the mean time, this little blurb from Cisco's CEO on the company's criteria for purchasing a company is a good lead to follow.

A common vision, short-term wins for Cisco after the acquisition, long-term strategic importance, a similarity of chemistry and culture, and geographic proximity.

i.e You should believe in the management and the company, the trade should show immediate profits, should have good long term prospects, the stock's characteristics should match yourown psychology and trading philosophy, and it should not have exposure to foreign markets.

Good investment advice is abound. You just have to know how to listen.
