To follow up on the question earlier about the spread. It is possible
on the NASDAQ to put in a buy order at a price which is between the
bid and ask and have the order filled. The order will be seen by the
traders and one of them may decide to fill it. I've done this myself
and it has worked.

I think the stock is doing worse than the company is. The third quarter results were a shock because not only did the company fail
to meet its numbers but also there was a 25% decline in revenue. If
this signalled a trend towards lower profitability that would be a
bad thing. I bought some shares at 7 3/4 (when the ask price was 8)
and I'm not particularly worried at this stage since the new products
should offset any loss of revenue from the old ones. The bad news is
that the new products continue to be late, I'll check at the end
of the quarter with my local music store to see which products really
did ship. I think that the Q4 results will tell us whether Q3 was
soft due to seasonal weakness or long term weakness in the existing
products.

Send me e-mail if you want more detailed analysis.
