tippet, If I may offer my thoughts....I would expect that I could get a reliable indication of where the market is moving short term under any circumstances. Understand I am only talking 15 to 20 minutes, tops. This morning I had a good sell signal, and it worked....too bad I did not trade it. The last hour or so the market has been sideways and my method does not produce good signals in a sideways market. This has been the case on any day where the range is less than 5 or 6 points for an extended period. As far as holding through the announcement goes, I don't know. Hadn't really considered it, but probably will be flat at that point unless I have a solid indication one way or the other. -Scott
