Be happy, that's how a mouse should die, it's time was up.
There's at least one mouse that wasn't so lucky. Two nights ago
my 14 year cat decided to reciprocate for all the years I've been
feeding him and brought home dinner. He came in from the deck and promptly let a live mouse go by my feet. The mouse ran under a
cabinet before I realized what the heck was going on. I set mouse traps and caught him last night. I wish I could have caught him alive
and given him his freedom but wild mice are too smart fro Hav-a-Heart
traps so I din't have much choice at least I didn't use glue traps.
On the bright side it's good to know my cat's still in good enough
shape to catch mice.
